Introducing...KUTTER MICHAEL MCMILLEN!

I know it has been FOREVER since I have updated my blog last...but what better way to come back than with a baby announcement?! I have lots to update about our moves, fun summer, birthdays, my knee surgery, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. but for now I will focus on our newest addition. (TO ALL MY PAST READERS...PLEASE COME BACK TO ME! I PROMISE I WILL START UPDATING...PINKY SWEAR :)

I was due on February 5th, (this Sunday) but I had been so uncomfortable for the past month. My knee and hips were hurting, I felt HUUUUUUUGE, I couldn't sleep, etc. I really wanted my Doctor to deliver me (instead of just getting who was on call at the time) and he promised he would as long as he was in town. I had been dilated to a 2 for a couple of weeks with no promising outlook of going into labor anytime soon. My dang babies never drop! He could see how miserable I was, so we scheduled an induction for Tuesday, January 31st at 6:00 a.m. I was so happy! I had mixed feelings about it all week though...wondering if I was being a total baby and should just wait it out. But, I was running on NO sleep and decided it was time. The last couple of nights I had to sleep upright on the couch because my arms and hands would fall asleep...does anyone else have that problem?!
We got to the hospital around 6:30 a.m. (couldn't find the keys :) and the nurses got me all checked in. It took them 4 attempts to put my IV in...I have some crappy veins! Needless to say, my arms are covered in bruises :) I seriously had the BEST nurses all day long, I was so grateful! They were all amazing and helped me so much. They started me on Pitocin around 8:30 a.m. and I started having contractions shortly after. Dr. Coleman came in and checked me and guess what? Still a stinking 2! So, we let the Pitocin do it's thing and he came back and checked me around 12:00 p.m. and I had gone up a whoppin cm. Now a 3! He broke my water and I was on my way. I decided it wasn't the best time to get my epidural because I wanted to progress quite a bit more first and I was still pretty freaked out from Krew's epidural (10 tries with NO SUCCESS!) So, I waited until about 2:30 p.m. before I had them make the call. My anesthesiologist arrived 15 minutes later and I was having pretty bad contractions. He tried twice to get my epidural in before realizing that I had a blood vessel in that part of my back and that's why everyone had such problems. So, he decided to go down a knotch on my back and hit it perfectly. BEST epidural I've had yet! A half hour later, I was feeling pretty good :) Things went pretty fast from there. Around 6:45 p.m. I was fully dilated and almost ready to push. Problem was, Kutter was facing upwards. So, Dr. Coleman decided he could turn him through my pushes and it worked! I only pushed for 12 minutes and he was out. Kutter Michael McMillen

proud Daddy!
tired Mommy

Papa Eric Kaiden was excited to see Kutter, but hesitent. He didn't want to hurt him and thought he was so small.
This was one of our nurses, Michelle and she was fantastic! She was so patient with Kenned'y 1,000 questions. She even let her listen to Kutter's heartbeat...Kennedy was in heaven! She really wants to be a nurse when she grows up and I know she'll be amazing.
Aunt Kaci
Krew wanted nothing to do with baby Kutter but thankfully now has warmed up to him and loves giving him kisses on his head. He is always making sure Kutter has a binki too.
My oldest and youngest!
The Grandmas...these two were so funny. They both got to experience the birth and then while Kutter was getting cleaned up, they were texting fools! Taking and sending pictures like crazy...they are two proud Grandmas.
Grandma JoAnn
Grandma Celeste
Grandma Celeste's 9th grandbaby and Grandma JoAnn's 5th
My beautiful baby boy!

We are overwhelmed with the amount of love we feel for this new little boy of ours. Our family feels complete and we are so blessed to have 4 healthy, beautiful children. We couldn't be happier.

I captured this award-winning mullet while on a McDonald's outing with my boys.
You're welcome.
Whooooooop yeah! (Ryan...you're the only one who will fully appreciate this)

Visitors!

We had a blast a couple weeks ago when Aunt Kaci and Mackie came to visit for the weekend. Krew is sometimes a bully and pushes or takes toys away from her, but this time he was a gem! They interact well together now that Mackie is mobile and can jabber along with Krew...who knows what they try to say...its adorable!

These two goobers carried Mackie to the car when it was time for them to go home. Come and visit again sooooooooooon!!!

Krew's homey

What can I do? The kid LOVES this annoying purple dinosaur.

mY fAvOrItE tHiNgS...

As promised, here are my current faves. I think I have lost all my readers though...anyone out there??? I have only myself to blame...uninteresting and infrequent posts attract no one. Please come back though, you have all been missed! I promise to be full of wit and post lots...pinky swear.

Movin on... all of these fabulous things are inspired by Spring of course!

1. DOUBLEMINT GUM...delish! My favorite gum of ALL time. My Grandma always had this gum in her purse while I was growing up...still does. Reminds me of her. She is the most generous, amazing, energetic, stylish little lady I have ever met...love her! This gum is fresh, minty and fabulous. However, my dentist doesn't agree. Therefore...

2. I CHEW EXTRA GUM INSTEAD! Sugar-free and still minty-fresh.
3. I am many moons behind the 'Aquaphor' trend, but alas...I am hooked! I don't know how, but this ointment starts out appearing greasy but rubs silky smooth on Krew's dry skin and doesn't absorb into his clothes. Ahhhhhhhhh...

4. CASCADIAN FARM 'ORGANIC' VANILLA CHIP GRANOLA BARS... These are amazing! Soft and chewy and soooo yummy. I know the Co-Op in Moscow, ID (for all my Moscow peeps!) has this brand and also any Fred Meyer. Seriously, pick these up...a perfect healthy snack, my kids LOVE them! (They have other flavors too).
5. SEBASTIAN SHAPER PLUS HAIRSPRAY... I am the fortunate benefactor of THREE Cosmetologists. Ba ha ha ha...my Sisters and SIL are great. Always picking up stuff for me at the Beauty Supply. I can't go without this stuff...not too sticky and just enough hold. Let me know if you would like my lovely discount too...$7.00 a bottle ain't too shabby :)
6. BIGGEST LOSER...Darn this show! Bawled my eyes out tonight. Debated on helping myself to a pretty good-sized bowl of Double Chocolate Brownie ice cream that was calling my name from the freezer. BUT I withstood temptation. Thank you Brett, Cara, Bob and Jillian.
7. AMERICAN IDOL...I wasn't sure about this season without Simon, however...I'm digging the new faces. Love Casey Abrams.

8. THE MIDDLE...Have you seen this show? Hilarious! Totally normal (somewhat) things happening to normal (somewhat) people. I would HATE to live it their house though. C-L-U-T-T-E-R!

9. Crap! Not the best (feeling afterwards) show, but another hilarious one. Can I just tell you how much I LOVE Gloria! Her accent kills me...so over-the-top but awesome.

10. KNIGHT AND DAY...I actually thought this show was pretty darn entertaining. I am skeptical when it comes to Mr. Tom Cruise...not my fave guy, but I really thought these two did a good job together.

11. JUST GO WITH IT...This show was so entertaining! Again, skeptical with these two...especially Jennifer Aniston (can't shake that she's not RACHEL anymore), but it was so funny. I LOL many times :) The little girl was the BEST, I hope she goes far...her English accent killed me!

12. www.eighteen25.blogspot.com This blog is darling. So many fun, creative ideas...especially this one. I MUST HAVE THESE! To help my parenting skills of course...leaving my kids daily love notes is a MUST if I want to be a good Mom...duh! The bank account will shrink, but our love will grow...it's a sacrifice I am willing to make. Ahem...

***You can buy these here *** You're welcome.
13. CLINIQUE LIP GLOSS...AIR KISS IS MY FAVORITE COLOR! I have loved makeup...ever since I was a little girl. It was kind of my Grandma and I's thing...school clothes shopping in SLC, always stopping at the MAC counter to get my fill (along with all the other makeup counters of course). My obsession passed on to Kennedy. The lady's at our local MAC (bless their hearts) know Kennedy by name. Now I know some of you are shaking your heads, but don't worry...we aren't extravagant, I swear! Oh and check this out! Kennedy and I went to Macy's tonight and stopped at the MAC counter because I happened to run out of almost everything at the same time. Dang, hate that. They gave her some brushes to use and let her do her thing...yes, she puts everything on by herself at this point. She is 7 1/2 after all. She was in heaven. I stopped at the Clinique counter to pick up my clothes they were holding and Kennedy grabbed a few cotton balls. I told her to put them back (she likes to hoard random things she thinks are useful!)...the Clinique lady (a darling 20-25 year-old) said, "hold on, I'll be right back" she came back with a cute makeup bag that she stuffed with three eye shadows, mascara, lip gloss, a mirror, lip stick and another cute little bag. Oh...and a HUGE handful of cotton balls! ba ha ha. Kennedy was ecstatic! She thanked her over and over and smiled all the way to the car. I was a little jealous...aren't YOU?!?! :)
14. CRYSTAL RAIN WINDEX... Have you had the opportunity to smell this?

15. MAC MINERALIZE FOUNDATION WITH SPF 15... I bought this stuff tonight and I love it! My skin is soft and not caked with makeup.

16. NETI POT... This thing has been a LIFESAVER in our home! Lots of colds and congestion this winter and this helped us fight through. Actually, I have a confession. I have never used it...just everyone in my family. I am scared! I don't know why, but I am. I can't bring myself to use it. I will power through one day though and let you know how it goes.

17. HEATH BAR... This one has NOT helped my weight loss one bit. I don't eat them often, but when I do...they are heaven in a bar.

18. POWER C GUMMY VITAMINS... We have been consuming copious amounts of these in our house. They taste great and are mounds better than those big 'ol chalky things. We buy ours at Costco.

19. LIME TWIST SALT CITY CANDLE... I know I've had this one in my previous FT posts, but I just love it to pieces. It is the epitome of Spring to me.

20. OLD NAVY RUFFLY PURSE... Isn't this darling? I love it because it's so simple yet so pretty!

21. VICTORIA'S SECRET AMBER ROMANCE BODY LOTION... I have used this scent since High School and I can't get enough. It's such a subtle smell but so invigorating. I will keep buying until they stop making.

22. BARNES AND NOBLE...My kids love to come here. They could read books for hours! Plus, Krew couldn't be happier with their Thomas the Train table setup. I like to relax and enjoy a book of my own. Its a win for everyone.
23. GLADE SPARKLE OF SPRING ROOM SPRAY... Spring in a can! A must have for houses that absorb smells from kids, husbands, poopy diapers, last night's dinner...you get my drift.
24. SUBWAY ART...I just picked THIS one up from Costco. All I did was upload it and printed an 8x10. I am going to frame and hang tomorrow. Simple and adorable...my kind of decoration.

25. SCATTERGORIES... This is our new family-favorite game to play together. Kaiden is a wiz and Kennedy is starting to get better...she has some pretty amusing answers. Krew just tries to hide the letter dice.

26. THIS BIG, DUMB PURPLE DINOSAUR...BARNEY. You're intolerable sometimes, that's for sure...but you provide entertainment for my rambunctious toddler. Bless you and that ANNOYING voice of yours.

THERE YOU HAVE IT...MY FAVES. THIS DRAWING IS GOING TO BE A LITTLE DIFFERENT. INSTEAD OF PICKING A PRODUCT YOU WANT TO WIN, I AM GOING TO GIVE YOU A HOMEMADE LOVELY FROM...ME! YES, YOU ARE SO WELCOME :) MY SISTERS AND SIL'S ARE HAVING A GIRL'S WEEKEND NEXT WEEK AND WE ARE GOING TO CRAFT ALL SORTS OF AWESOMENESS.
